My name is Jada Piras and I am a Professional Counselor. I stem from an international background: I am Italian on my father’s side, German on my mother’s and I lived quite a long period of my life in the Unites States, in South Florida where I attended junior and senior high school and experienced my formative years. My multicultural origins and frequent relocations abroad have greatly contributed to my open minded and curious nature and to my philosophical approach to life.
I enrolled at the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature and graduated with full grades in Germanistics, combining my passion for both literature and philosophy.

I have always believed that life is a personal journey and that every person has a mission that waits to be discovered and realized. A significant turning point in my life was the encounter with Buddhism which I have been a follower of its teachings since 30 years. Buddhism taught me that life is an opportunity to become what I am and that we, human beings, are naturally endowed with all necessary potential to lead a fully gratifying life.
After graduating I always worked in multinational companies where I have often had the chance to notice a general difficulty of people to achieve the so-called “life & work balance”. At a certain point I felt the urge to bring my contribution and to get myself a training as a business coach. My encounter with Counseling however disrupted my original project as I finally chose a different kind of training capable of going more in depth and of explaining the way individuals function in every aspect of their lives. Counseling is a very efficacious tool which enables individuals to enhance and accelerate desired changes in every area of life as it acts as a sort of magnifier which allows to recognize and therefore transform existential blocks.
My full training at the CSTG (Centro Studi Terapia della Gestalt ) as a counselor allowed me to undertake an in-depth work on myself and to understand that certain existential blocks and recurrent feelings of unease require a focused and expert approach in order to be solved. After such a significant training experience and given my philosophical background I decided to become a counselor and express my innermost vocation to guide people through their tough times and ultimately help them become what they are.
At present I conduct sessions in Italian, English and German.
